April 15, 2014
On April 7, 2014, Heartbleed, a critical security vulnerability, was announced which affected the OpenSSL library. This library is widely used to secure communications between two devices for example, a computer connecting to a web site. While it was only recently made public, this security risk has been in existence for over two years. After working with our vendors over the past week, our services do not appear to be affected by Heartbleed. We will continue to monitory the situation and will provide updates if anything changes.
